1. I first used the anti static wrist band to prevent me from frying the motherboard and other components.
2. I then installed the drive into its slot.
3. I then installed the IDE cable so that the drive can communicate with the other components on the motherboard
4. I then installed the molex cable which gives the components power from the power supply which lowers the voltage from 240v to 12v which the computer runs on.
